- Dugdugi is a small two-way drum.
- This musical instrument is commonly used in Hinduism and “Tibetan Buddhism”.
- The use of folk instruments is very ancient in Bangladesh.
- In the 5th century AD, Fa-Hien, a famous Chinese traveler, saw ancient musical instruments and called the country a land of music and dance.
- Nowadays, in addition to the use of this instrument in some religious ceremonies, bears are seen dancing, monkeys dancing and snakes dancing.
